Complete CISSP Guide 2025
Everything you need to know to pass the CISSP certification in 2025.
The CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification remains one of the most prestigious certifications in cybersecurity. In 2025, exam requirements and content have evolved to reflect new threats and technologies.
The CISSP exam covers 8 essential domains: Security and Risk Management, Asset Security, Security Architecture and Engineering, Communication and Network Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security Assessment and Testing, Security Operations, and Software Development Security.
To pass the exam, I recommend at least 3 to 6 months of preparation. Start by studying the official CBK (Common Body of Knowledge), then supplement with practice exams and study groups.
New for 2025 includes increased focus on cloud security, AI, and emerging threats. Make sure you master these topics as they represent a growing portion of exam questions.
My main advice: don't just memorize. Understand concepts deeply and be able to apply them to real scenarios. This is the key to passing this adaptive exam.
